Polk County Weatherization Assistance Program
Polk County's weatherization program can help with common home upgrades to reduce your home energy usage and help keep your home more comfortable.
What services does the program provide?
PCHTF’s support of this program supports repairs to a home so that weatherization measures can be installed. State funding is typically allocated for energy savings measures. Measures that can be installed with weatherization funding are components to seal a home from air infiltration and installing insulation to create cost savings in energy usage.
Who is eligible?
Owner Occupied households who are at 200% of the Federal Property Level for household size. That range is typically from the 40% to 70% range for AMI.
How does someone apply?

Applications can be done by phone and in person.
IMPACT serves Polk County as the CAP agency and handles all applications for energy assistance/weatherization.
