COMMUNITY INVESTMENT
PCHTF Community Investment funding provides investment and support into programmatic needs for organizations managing housing-focused programs in Polk County.
PCHTF Community Investment grants utilize charitable funds from our Navigating Housing Together fundraising initiative to support housing programs and services assisting people on their housing journey.
Our Community Investment Committee sets the program's funding priorities and reviews applications. The committee includes volunteer community leaders, the PCHTF Director of Advancement and Community Investment, PCHTF's Executive Director.

Eligibility and application
-
The organization must be a registered 501(c)3.
-
The program must exclusively support the Polk County, IA area.
-
The program must support people in becoming stably housed.
-
100% of the people in the program served must live at or below 80% Area Median Income (AMI).

The program must fit one of the five funding priorities: housing counseling and education, housing focused case management, resident services, affordable housing programs, permanent supportive housing programs.
-
If the program provides permanent supportive housing for people identifying as homeless, it must be exclusively receiving referrals from centralized intake.

The FY2026 application is open March 30 until May 1, 2026 at 5 pm in the Neighborly Participant Portal.
