Suzanne Mineck

Founder & CEO, Mineck Advisors

Suzanne brings more than 25 years of experience from a variety of philanthropic leadership roles and is a nationally recognized expert in transformative philanthropy. For more than a decade, Mineck served as CEO of Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, overseeing the vision, partnerships, and strategies that advanced community initiatives working to improve central Iowan’s health and well-being. Of special note, in 2015 Suzanne was part of a triumvirate that established a unique and successful partnership called Healthy Homes Des Moines which bridges the healthcare and housing communities to provide health education, supplies and home repairs where caregivers are struggling to help manage asthma symptoms of their children.

Suzanne brings to the PCHTF Board extensive expertise in nonprofit leadership, as well as innovative thinking around addressing a community’s most pressing issues. Prior to joining Mid-Iowa Health Foundation, Suzanne she spent 15 years working directly with a wide variety of nonprofits and recently the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs named her Honorary Consul for the states of Iowa and Nebraska.


In addition to PCHTF, Suzanne also serves on the boards of the Harwood Institute, Iowa ACEs 360, and the Science Center of Iowa. Recognized for her positive impact, she has received many awards such as: Des Moines Business Publication’s Woman of Influence; Luther College Distinguished Service Award; Prevent Child Abuse Iowa Community Prevention Partner of the Year; Iowa Homeless Youth Center’s Community Partner of the Year; National Campaign for Grade Level Reading Council of Champions; and the Business Record’s Forty Under 40. She is an alumnus of Luther College.
