Rachel Flint
Vice President Hubbell Homes, Hubbell Realty Company
Rachel Flint is a housing industry executive with Hubbell Realty Company where she has been since 2004. She is currently Vice President of Hubbell Homes and has also served in leadership roles for the company’s sales, marketing, and public relations. An industry leader, she has served as Chair of the National Association of Homebuilders 20 Clubs program in Washington, D.C. and President of the Greater Des Moines Home Builders Association. She is a member of several committees for both organizations. In 2016 she co-founded the Skilled Trades Alliance – Des Moines, where she continues to serve as steering committee member, as well as serving on the Executive Advisory Council for Iowa State University’s Master of Real Estate Development Program.
Rachel is a strong advocate for housing affordability, from introducing Hubbell’s Discovery Collection, a new construction option focused on making the first-time homebuying process easy and more affordable, to speaking passionately about her own life’s experiences as part of the PCHTF’s 2021 Affordable Housing Week Symposium. Her commitment to quality construction has resulted in countless awards including being the first Iowa builder to receive the 2021 National Housing Quality Award from Professional Builder Magazine, the 2021 Lloyd Clark Leadership Award from the Greater Des Moines Home Builder’s Association and 2016 Builder of the Year and Member of the Year.
Rachel earned her Master’s degree in Communication Leadership from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Iowa. Her first job out of college was as Acting Director of the UNI Gallery of Art which may explain her love of arts and her support of the Des Moines Arts Festival and serving on both the UNI’s Gallery of Art Board of Directors and Iowa State’s University Museums Advancement Council.
