Amy McCurtain
Corporate Risk Regulatory Execution Leader, Wells Fargo
Amy McCurtain started a legal career in private practice 20+ years ago, interned in the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma, and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tulsa College of Law. She moved back to her home state of Iowa when she joined Wells Fargo as an in-house attorney. Amy is currently an executive in the Wells Fargo Corporate Risk Department.
The areas of legal work that inspired Amy’s interest in housing affordability came from mortgage lending compliance and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) guidelines. She believes that addressing barriers to affordable housing is the most effective way to build inclusive, equitable communities — starting here in central Iowa.
Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Dakota in criminal justice and psychology, and her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she earned Order of the Coif and was Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review.
