Spotlight on U.S. Bank
Longtime supporter has granted funds since 1998
The Polk County Housing Trust Fund thanks U.S. Bank for its continued commitment to providing safe, stable, and affordable housing for all Polk County residents. Since 1998, U.S. Bank has generously granted PCHTF with $54,000 that has directly supported our housing provider partners in their efforts to help low-income people find and retain affordable homes.
At U.S. Bank, developing communities means investing in people and their hopes and dreams for the future. By providing products and services that meet the diverse needs of our local communities – such as innovative mortgage programs for first-time home buyers – U.S. Bank is helping to provide a social and economic foundation for achieving affordable housing, productive small businesses, and culturally vibrant communities.
Each year, the U.S. Bank Foundation provides millions of dollars in grants to nonprofit organizations in the focus areas of artistic and cultural enrichment, and education and economic opportunity. We collaborate with good community partners like Polk County Housing Trust Fund, who understand the needs of individuals, families and organizations, and then match our resources with those community needs. Through this type of coordination and collaboration, families can find affordable places to call home, people can gain job skills, young people from diverse backgrounds can achieve in school, and the enrichment of the arts can become more accessible to everyone.
We firmly believe that when our communities succeed, we all succeed. At U.S. Bank, that’s what community development is all about and it’s integral to the way we do business.
