PCHTF Accomplishments
Through our programs and support of our non-profit partners—Anawim Housing, Community Housing Development Corporation, Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, Home Opportunities Made Easy (HOME), Inc., The Home Connection—we are pleased to share the following recent accomplishments:
During the 2005-2006 fiscal year
- $1,470,669.00 was awarded for the maintenance or development of new and/or existing single-family and multi-family housing units.
- 431 units in Polk County received funding for major repairs or development from PCHTF. And an additional 1,200 units received funding for minor repairs.
- Since April 1, 2004, the PCHTF has assisted 145 home buyers with down payment/closing cost totalling $460,000.

The Polk County Housing Trust Fund, whose purpose is, "Providing resources, Partnering for affordable housing," is inviting partners, funders and friends of affordable housing to their 15th Anniversary event celebration, April 8, 2010.
